Funeral Director

**Growing family\-owned firm with multiple locations is seeking a new team member for our Bowling Green, King George or Colonial Beach VA locations. Our profession is emotionally demanding, that’s why we have tried to perfect our scheduling and case load. If you are tired of missing family events, backbreaking work, endless reports or quotas, then we need to chat.** **Requirements:** * Must have completed mortuary school and have a Virginia Funeral Directors License or the ability to gain license. * Seeking a compassionate and kind, detail\-oriented, highly organized Licensed Funeral Director with a “can do” attitude to join our team. * Computer skills needed, but no administrative work required. * Strong organizational and time management skills are a plus. * Valid driver's license and clean driving record and the ability to lift at least 50lbs. **Responsibilities include:** * Meeting with client families to make funeral at\-need and pre\-need arrangements, present and explain service options. * Direct funeral services, visitations, create personalized memorial products, and assist with other services. Training provided. Excellent schedule including every other weekend off. Weekends on duty do not require staffing the chapels unless we have a service or arrangement conference. We try very hard (and are successful) in scheduling arrangement conferences for weekdays. No after\-hours phone responsibilities or transfers. We pay above market wages and have a great support staff that allows our Directors to do only Funeral Director tasks. We are committed to perfecting our industry and creating a culture that doesn’t exist in most firms today. **Pay:** Based on experience.
