**Job Overview** Join our compassionate team as a Funeral Director, where you will play a vital role in guiding families through one of life's most challenging moments with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail. This dynamic position combines the art of funeral service with logistical coordination, ensuring that each funeral is conducted with dignity and respect. As a Funeral Director, you will oversee all aspects of funeral arrangements, from initial consultation to final disposition, creating meaningful experiences for grieving families while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. **Duties** * Meet with families to discuss funeral arrangements, providing compassionate bereavement support and clear guidance throughout the process * Coordinate logistical details including transportation, embalming, cosmetology, and sanitation procedures to prepare the deceased respectfully and hygienically * Plan and execute funeral services and memorial events, ensuring all elements align with family wishes and cultural traditions * Manage the preparation of bodies through dissection, embalming, and cosmetology to ensure respectful presentation * Oversee heavy lifting and physical tasks involved in handling caskets, equipment, and deceased remains safely and efficiently * Maintain detailed records of all services provided, including documentation for legal compliance and sales transactions * Provide ongoing support to families after services, offering resources for grief counseling and community support **Qualifications** * Proven experience in funeral directing or related roles within the funeral service industry * Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to ensure proper handling of bodies and dissection procedures when necessary * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, empathetically, and professionally during sensitive situations * Familiarity with event planning to organize funeral services that meet client expectations * Knowledge of sanitation standards and cosmetology techniques relevant to embalming and body preparation * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in a physically demanding environment * Experience in sales or client consultation to assist families in selecting appropriate services and merchandise Join us in delivering heartfelt service that honors lives with dignity.
