Funeral Director with a State of Florida license

* Ensuring all files and paperwork are timely and in accordance with relevant funeral service laws and regulations * Take part in community networking opportunities, host educational events and tours, and attend health care facility visits with Baldwin Brothers’ Community Liaison * Manage and supervise burial, cremation, and other funeral dispositions * Work with the designated representative of the deceased to coordinate viewings, funeral service, embalming, cremation, or any other services relating to the final disposition of human remains * Direct and supervise visitations, viewings, and funeral services * Coordinate with veteran organizations to provide military honors * Ensure religious and ethnic customs of decedents are fulfilled and respected * Overall responsibility for funeral services * Participate in state and county inspections * Work scheduled on call shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays * Exhibit proficiency with and ability to quickly learn the various software programs, databases, and systems utilized * Meet with families in their homes, as requested * Other duties as assigned Job Type: Full\-time Pay: $45,000\.00 \- $90,000\.00 per year Benefits: * Paid time off * Parental leave * Relocation assistance * Tuition reimbursement People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Ability to Commute: * Oakland Park, FL 33311 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: * Oakland Park, FL 33311: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
