Funeral Director/Embalmer

Responsibilities: Arrange, coordinate, and direct funeral services and burials Meet with families to discuss arrangements, options, and services Prepare necessary paperwork including death certificates and permits Coordinate with clergy, and other service providers Oversee embalming, dressing, and preparation of the deceased Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Provide on\-call availability on a rotating basis, including evenings and weekends Qualifications: Valid Funeral Director license in the state of Washington (or ability to obtain) Experience preferred, but new licensees and interns will be considered Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compassionate demeanor and professional appearance Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of integrity and discretion Attention to detail Note: This job description may not include all responsibilities, duties, or qualifications associated with this position.
