Funeral Director/Embalmer

· Active and In Good Standing Funeral Directing and Embalming License with the state of Missouri. Work for a premier location! · Arrange and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies in a professional, organized, and caring manner. · Care for the deceased respectfully while performing a variety of tasks, which include removals and transfers; embalming; dressing; cosmetizing; and casketing. Strong embalming skills required. · Arrange for and oversee interment or cremation of human remains. · Prepare necessary legal paperwork, including contracts, authorizations, death certificates, and transit permits. · Assist families wishing to prearrange or prepay funeral arrangements. · Good understanding of computers and standard software including, MS Word, MS Excel, and Electronic Death Registry System · Ability to serve and maintain several families each time. · Excellent communication skills · Meticulous · Elevated level of empathy and compassion · Ability to work weekends and evenings according to schedule. · Clean driving record Compensation based on experience Job Type: Full\-time Pay: $75,000\.00 \- $85,000\.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Retirement plan * Tuition reimbursement * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
