Funeral Director/Emblamer Intern

The **Funeral Director Intern** supports all aspects of funeral operations, services, and family care while gaining hands\-on experience in the profession. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist with funeral and memorial services * Greet and guide families and visitors * Answer phones and direct calls professionally * Maintain service areas, lobby, and facilities * Assist with transportation of the deceased * Support preparation, dressing, and casketing as directed * Help with visitations, services, and graveside ceremonies * Maintain vehicles, equipment, and supplies * Follow all safety, identification, and universal precaution standards * Complete required documentation accurately * Attend training and support continuous improvement * Perform other duties as assigned **Job Requirements** * Registered Funeral Director Intern with the Louisiana State Board or be currently enrolled in a mortuary science program * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures * Reliable attendance Job Type: Part\-time Pay: $15\.00 \- $22\.00 per hour License/Certification: * Louisiana Funeral Director Intern license (Preferred) Work Location: In person
