Funeral Home Transfer Technician
Job Description
**Funeral Home Removal Technician**
You will be responsible for transporting decedents from their place of passing to the funeral home. This includes transportation from hospitals, nursing homes, private residences, and sometimes other locations depending on situational circumstances. The company will provide a vehicle that you will use along with all the necessary equipment and personal protective equipment to facilitate each transfer. This position is an on call basis and you will be scheduled accordingly based off of a rotating schedule. The on call shifts are from 5pm-6am Monday-Friday and 8am-6am on Saturdays and Sundays.
Requirements:
* Strong communication skills
* Proper dress attire (approved by funeral home)
* Able to lift in excess of 75lbs at times
* Clean driving record
* Ability to adapt and learn quickly
* Critical thinking
* Ability to follow company policies and adhere to them
* Taking directives from superiors
* Obtaining necessary information as needed
* Keeping all information confidential
* Weekend and holiday availability is a bonus (additional pay for holidays)
Pay: $25.00 - $100.00 per day
