Licensed Funeral Director

We are looking for an individual who excels in working directly with families, conducting arrangements, and managing administrative responsibilities in a professional funeral home environment. Responsibilities * Meet with families and conduct funeral and cremation arrangements * Coordinate funeral services, visitations, and memorial events * Prepare and process all necessary documentation and permits * Create and review obituaries, prayer cards, and memorial materials * Provide exceptional customer service and compassionate family care * Maintain accurate records and case files * Assist with office administration and daily operations * Communicate effectively with clergy, cemeteries, crematories, and vendors Qualifications * Current New Jersey Funeral Director License * Strong arrangement conference and family service skills * Excellent verbal and written communication abilities * Professional appearance and demeanor * Ability to multitask and manage several cases simultaneously * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Technical Skills Required Proficiency with: * Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail) * Canva * Zoom * MIMS * Tribute Technology platforms * General office software and computer systems What We Offer * Monday–Friday schedule (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) * Limited weekend responsibilities as needed * No evening removals * Supportive and professional work environment * Opportunity to serve families in a respected, family\-focused funeral home To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter to Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home at [email protected] Please do NOT call the funeral home directly.
