Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

We are seeking a personable individual for our family owned and operated funeral homes to provide exceptional service and guidance to the families we serve. A successful candidate will be passionate about this position and take pride in assisting families through their most difficult times. Although this is a demanding position, it is also very rewarding, and we're looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual who has a keen understanding of our products and services. Daily Responsibilities: * Gather and complete necessary paperwork for the deceased. * Prepare the deceased for burial or cremation. * Attend visitation and funeral ceremonies. * Assist with transfers from the place of death, back to the funeral home. * Preparation of the deceased in an ethical and respectful manner. * Rotating on\-call schedule. Requirements: * Valid state issued driver's license in good standing, and with a clean driving record. * Funeral Director/Embalmer license valid in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. * Must be available to work every other weekend as part of your regular schedule. Job Type: Full\-time. Pay from: $70,000/year. Education: Associate/Bachelor in Funeral Service degree (Required) Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, the Medical Examiner release and cremations software, and VIP Death Registry System/MAVRIC ERDS are preferred.
