**Job Title:** Part\-Time Caring Team Member at Caring Paws Pet Cremation
**Company:** Caring Paws Pet Cremation
**Location:** 535 Bush Ave. St. Paul, Minnesota 55130
**Schedule:** Weekdays \- 14 Hours Per Week (two 7 hour shifts) open to which 2 days.
**Pay:** $18\-21 per hour
**Are you compassionate, detail\-oriented, enjoy helping others, and somewhat comfortable with the sensitive nature of end\-of\-life care for pets? Caring Paws Pet Cremation is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Caring Team at our St. Paul Facility.**
**Overview:**
Caring Paws Team members play a crucial role in providing care, compassion, and respect to families and their pets as they navigate pet end of life care and pet cremation. Caring Paws Team members schedule intake appointments (phone, email, text), meet with pet families (both for intake and reunion appointments), care for deceased pets, and operate crematory equipment.
Position requires an extremely high level of compassion, care, and respect to pet families and their pets, attention to detail, and a moderate comfort level around death. The cremation process is dignified and clean but the position involves light manual labor, body care of deceased pets, operating crematory equipment, and basic cleaning.
**Responsibilities**:
Help pet families navigate end\-of\-life care with unrivaled compassion and care.
Handle pets safely and with respect and dignity.
Operate crematory equipment in accordance to established procedures and safety guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the crematory facility.
Work in higher heat environments while operating crematorium equipment
Follow strict record\-keeping policies
**Qualifications:**
Must love people and pets. (It's ok if you love Pets more than People.)
Be somewhat comfortable with the sensitive nature of end\-of\-life care and death.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
Experience in veterinary care, end\-of\-life\-care, mortuary or crematory operations is highly valued but NOT necessary.
Ability to work independently.
