Pet Cremation Technician

**Pet Aquamation Technician** At Peaceful Waters Aquamation, we provide compassionate aftercare services for beloved pets and support families during one of the most difficult moments in their lives. We are currently seeking a dependable, detail\-oriented Aquamation Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, emotionally mature, mechanically minded, and able to work respectfully in a fast\-paced environment centered around dignity and care. **Responsibilities** * Operate aquamation equipment safely and efficiently while following all safety and operational procedures * Assist with the respectful intake, preparation, transfer, and aftercare of pets throughout the aquamation process * Maintain accurate identification and tracking procedures to ensure every pet is handled with the utmost care and accuracy * Perform routine cleaning, inspections, and basic maintenance of equipment and facility areas * Process memorial items, ashes, and keepsakes with close attention to detail * Maintain detailed records and documentation throughout each stage of the process * Assist with transportation and movement of pets and equipment, including heavy lifting when necessary * Communicate professionally and compassionately with veterinary staff, pet owners, and team members * Help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary facility at all times **Requirements** * Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely as part of daily responsibilities * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures carefully * Comfortable working in an emotionally sensitive environment involving deceased pets * Mechanical aptitude or experience working with industrial equipment is preferred * Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment * Strong communication skills and professional demeanor * Reliable, punctual, and able to handle physically demanding work including standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks * Experience in veterinary, funeral service, cremation, warehouse, or animal care settings is a plus but not required **What We Offer** * A meaningful career helping families honor and care for their beloved pets * Supportive and compassionate team environment * On\-the\-job training and opportunities for growth * A workplace centered around respect, professionalism, and dignity for both pets and people If you are someone who values compassion, responsibility, and meaningful work, we encourage you to apply and become part of our team.
