Pet Crematory Operator

As a key member of our team, you will operate specialized industrial equipment, handle heavy lifting tasks, and contribute to a respectful environment dedicated to honoring pets’ memories. **Responsibilities** * Operate cremation machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring proper procedures are followed for each pet. * Assist with the preparation and processing of pets for cremation, including handling remains with care and respect. * Perform heavy lifting of pets and shipments. * Maintain detailed records of each cremation process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. Must have good hand writing abilities. * Conduct routine inspections of crematory equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety. * Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a clean, safe, and respectful work environment. * Must have vehicle for pet pick ups routinely from businesses and homes. **Experience** * Prior mechanical knowledge or experience working with industrial or cremation equipment is desirable. * Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly as part of daily tasks. * Experience in handling sensitive situations with compassion, preferably within funeral services or pet care industries. * Knowledge of safety procedures related to operating heavy machinery and industrial equipment. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for recordkeeping and process management. * Previous experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
