Pet Crematory Transportation Specialist (Tuesday - Friday, 9 am - 7 pm)

**Forever Friends Pet Cremation and Memorialization** *Pet Crematory Transportation Specialist (Tuesday \- Friday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm)* Do you have a strong work ethic but a soft heart? We are looking for hard\-working, compassionate individuals who can demonstrate our core values of respect, transparency, accountability and service excellence. **Dependability is key!** This position will be a part of all crematory operations but will focus mainly on transportation. This includes both transferring pets from the place of death to Forever Friends and returning memorial packages to families. You will also be cross\-trained in all aspects of cremation, including creating keepsakes, cremating pets or engraving urns. Essential job functions: * Transfers pets from the place of death to Forever Friends and returns memorial packages from Forever Friends to private residences, ensuring all documentation is complete. * Maintains appropriate chain of custody documentation, ensuring accurate identification and tracking of remains while in company care. * Follows quality control process to ensure 100% accuracy in our products and services. * May create memorial keepsakes (clay paw prints, ink paw/nose prints, lock of fur). * May be called on to perform cremations and process cremated remains. * May engraves urns according to family wishes. * Ensures the work area is tidy, clean, and organized. * Follows safety protocols and codes of conduct as set forth by the company. * Meets all deadlines. * Participates in staff meetings and offers suggestions to improve family satisfaction, product and service offerings and profitability of the company. * Performs additional duties as assigned.
