As a **Security Officer Full Time Hospital Mortuary Patrol** in **Delray Beach, FL**, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas throughout a healthcare location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security\-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors through professional communication, respond to incidents including sensitive areas and behavioral situations, and deliver exceptional customer service. **Pay Rate: $17\.91 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Mon 08:00 AM \- 04:00 PM

Tue 08:00 AM \- 04:00 PM

Wed 08:00 AM \- 04:00 PM

Sat 08:00 AM \- 04:00 PM

**What You'll Do:**

* Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security\-related procedures, site\-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
* Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem\-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as needed.
* Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
* Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed, and maintaining awareness of visitor and contractor activity.
* Document patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with site\-specific procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

**Minimum Requirements:**

* Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
* Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
* Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
* A state, county, or city\-issued security\-related license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21\+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
